Jeff was raised in Glendale Arizona and started martial arts at a young age. Jeff joined the US Army in 2003 and got out in 2015 with an Honorable Discharge. Jeff spent 11 years as a Special Forces Green Beret and deployed 5 times between Iraq and Afghanistan. Jeff was a Combatives instructor for 3rd Special Forces Group (A) in the Advanced Skills Company.
Jeff is MACP (Modern Army Combatives Program) level 2 and a SOCP (special operations Combatives program) certified instructor. Jeff started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) in 2007 in Bahgram Afghanistan. Jeff received his black belt in BJJ under John Crouch at The MMA Lab in 2019.
Jeff is the Head Black Belt and tactics Instructor for the M1 Combat Academy.
